  • Needs Work

Car looks great, but definitely needs work. Have had the car a little over a year, and have had it in for computer work twice. Had to reprogram it once and put a new one in the second time. Have had it in for tranny work 3 times. Last time they had to replace the valve body. Third time is to probably re-do the last work. Replaced the belt tensioner twice, and is squeeking again, Everything is under warranty, but too much major work in less than 26K miles.

My wife and I inherited this 2008 LaCrosse. Our first thought was to sell it because it looks like an old person's car. Then we drove it for a while. Wow. Great ride, great handling, great comfort.

The interior of the LaCrosse is very cramped, and it's smaller than I'd expect for a Buick. I constantly hit my elbow on the center console and bump my head getting in. Besides the bad interior room, the seats are amazing. The seats are very comfortable and squishy. The LaCrosse also has good trunk space, you could fit 4 bodies in there if you arranged them right. The car's styling has aged well, and it stills looks nice and luxurious. It also has very Buick-like suspension. It feels like you're gliding on a magic carpet when you go over potholes. It's a great car besides the tiny interior space.
